I’m 100% positive dogs do this most commonly because they refuse to eat their food. They are picky and my dog will starve himself almost every day in hopes of getting something better than his kibble. Then the next morning he pukes without question.

I think I will stick to male dogs. Although, the current male GSD I have now presented as Bilateral Cryptorchid. At 4 years of age I decided to send him in for surgery to get his testes removed. It turns out he had zero testes and he is an Anorchid, which explains a lot why he had arthritis from a young age and also very low confidence. But now, knowing this, has been quite the education for me. He is thriving now, he will never be perfect and his health is not the best physically (arthritis) but I am making sure he will live his best life.

My silver lab is 3.9 years old. Started having seizures in late December 2023. Since then about seizure every 1.5 months. As of April its been almost a month since his last episode. He's been on mct oil daily. The oil has helped lessen his seizure length. Started late March giving him beef liver. Being busy, have't been consistent. Purchased 2 packs frozen. Last batch boiled for 5 minutes and froze. Gave him small pieces 3xs a week. Should it be raw, or boiled? He's 85 pounds. Vet wanted his weight down. He was 92 pounds. He has nice trim look now. Feed him the science diet large breed adult 1-5 lamb meal and brown rice recipe. As all pet parents, want him to have loooonnnng life.

Resources for ground beef or bison bone? Seeking to make a home made raw diet for my multiple protein and environmemtally allergic/sensitive dog. Have great resouces for grass fed, grass finished NGMO/horomone free beef. However, need proper ground beef bone to add to complete. He chews, but does not eat enough bone when offered, does not like premade raw, even Viva that he couldn't wait to eat as a puppy, and though Better Bones is wonderful, we go through it lightening fast for a 130 lb dog.

My dog just died from hemangiosarcoma and really, there were no signs until the morning she passed. That morning she wouldn’t get up, eat or drink water. I brought her to the vet and they did an ultrasound and found a large mass on her spleen and liver and she was bleeding out and we had to put her down. She was almost 10. She was my best friend and I am heart-broken. 😢

Although most of the advice you gave was really good, it was a bit careless of you to advise people to feed their dogs bones without warning them that the bones should NEVER be cooked. Cooked bones could splinter and puncture the dogs intestines, or cause the dog to choke which can cause death! You also suggested feeding beef rib bones, but you should have been more specific about what types of bones small dogs can consume versus what large dogs can consume.

"yogurt isn't the best"-- Oh well. This is not very informative with respect to feeding dogs. A bit of yogurt in a dog's diet is a great addition. Just make sure it is plain yogurt that is thick because of full fermentation. Make sure no sugar or toxic sugar substitutes. If you dog has problems with yogurt then stop giving it. There, I summed it up so you don't have to listen to this long winded video.

We were told a year ago that our dogs lump was a cyst, now a year later and twice the size, we are being told that it is cancer, after a biopsy. We should have insisted on a biopsy a year ago. Very sad and now they need to do a scan to see if it has spread to her insides. Insist on having any lump checked.

Um, this information is incorrect, im sorry. You are not helping anyone by spreading this misinformation. Especially because dogs with leaky gut have been helped with Coconut Oil or MCT Oil (Coconut Oil is the cheapest & simplest way to get MCT Oil). Saturated fat is not all the same, just like theirs different sugars. There is good & bad saturated fat.
